We are extremely lucky to have the opportunity to have Isbert (Vivio) Ramos (his bio is below) presenting these amazing three classes.
We have 3 workshops classes to explore styles that we just don’t have time to explore in more depth in our weekly class curriculum but they will improve your social dancing and understanding of Cuban Dance.
These classes will improve your body movement, rhythm and timing. Increase your styling and some fun Rueda moves as well!

Who is Vivio?
Vivio is the most accomplished and experienced male Cuban dancer in New Zealand, offering more than 40 years knowledge and experience. Born in Cuba, from the age of 11, Vivio trained at the acclaimed National School of Arts in Habana before touring the world with various prestigious dance companies, performing in 100s of shows. Since arriving in Aotearoa in 2002 and setting up The Cuban Groove, Vivio has taught 1,000s of students, performed in high-profile events, judged national salsa competitions, appeared in television and film, and brought his sense of fun and positive energy to countless festivals and parties around the country.
