It is time to unleash your inner dancer! Ensuring you have a strong foundation will boost your confidence as a dancer and accelerate your learning.
Its very exctining to bring you a new series of 3 2-hour classes duing May to explore some techical skills that we use in our weekly class curriculum. This is an opportunity to focus on them more fully. Mastering these skills will improve your social dancing and understanding of Salsa. These classes will improve your basics, turns, body movement, rhythm and timig.

7 May – Improve your basic’s and incorporate body movement. This class is open to all levels ( a Salsa basic is required), we will cover various techniques including weight transfer, foot position, posture, key body isolations, arm movement and footwork.

21 May – Imporve your turn and spins, This class is open to all levels ( a Salsa basic is required), we will cover various techniques including foot patterns, posture, body stacking, using your core to turn, spoting/head whip and balance

28 May – Musicality and Social Dance. Ensuring you understand salsa music boost your confidence as a dancer on the social dance floor. This class is open to all levels but a basic and dile que no/cross-body lead and exibile and right-hand turn will be required to complete this class, We will cover the basic structure of salsa songs, key instruments and timing within salsa music, identifying the different ‘energy’ levels in the sections of songs, We will discuss strategies to build your Social dance. This class is not just for the leads! Ladies, we will talk about how you can add your musicality and bring your flavour to the dance.
